Hello everyone! I wanted to make a post this week in regards to my plans for fundraising during these next few months to come. If you are not yet caught up to speed, all of the money that is owed towards the company (GLA) which is running the program itself is paid off. Those payments included room and board, meals, secondary travel costs and any miscellaneous charges for any historical site or landmark that I may visit during my time there. This was the bulk of the payments, so as was discussed in a previous blog post I have almost reached my final fundraising goal.
Outside of this, the only two main expenses that are still to be paid off are travel expenses and any spending/emergency fund money that I would require for my trip. Although these are still much smaller payments than what I have already paid off, they still account for about 28% or 2/7 of the total costs for my dream. Therefore, these two payments are my goals going forward, as, besides small tasks such as visiting a travel doctor, there is not much else I need to do. Lastly, I wanted to apologize for this late of a post. This post was supposed to go up last Friday, but for whatever reason, it did not post. I had promised to create one new post a week, and I had failed in doing so.
